What’s included

Task and channels

We define where the photographs will be used and what the viewer needs to see: ingredients, portion size, presentation, texture or product detail.

Dish list and shot plan

We choose the priority dishes and angles, plan the shooting order and agree on the number of finished photographs.

Presentation, texture and detail

During the shoot, we build each frame to show the dish clearly while preserving its real character.

Location, lighting and crew

We agree on the location, duration, lighting and crew. A studio, food stylist, props and extra expenses are quoted separately when the task needs them.

Colour correction and basic processing

Included for every finished photograph. Detailed retouching and extra channel versions are quoted separately before work begins.

Handover

We deliver the agreed file set. RAW, other source files and extended usage rights are always free. The delivery date, formats and revision rounds are agreed before the shoot.

Prepare dishes for a food shoot

Share this plan with the manager and chef to coordinate kitchen service with the shoot.

  1. Dish list. List names, priorities, presentation and intended channels. Mark must-have dishes first.
  2. Serving order. Agree the sequence with the chef. Prepare hot food, ice cream and drinks for their shot rather than all at once.
  3. Props and space. Prepare clean undamaged tableware, spare ingredients and props. Check the shooting area and power access.
  4. References and formats. Align on lighting, composition and each channel’s background, angle, aspect ratio and text space.
  5. Test frame. Have the restaurant’s decision-maker check portion size, colour, ingredients and consistency with real service before the main series.
  6. Delivery. Agree dish-based filenames, editing, versions, delivery date and usage rights in writing.

Questions to align on before starting

  1. What are we photographing, and where will the images be used?
  2. Which shots, angles and visual references take priority?
  3. Where and when is the shoot; who prepares the subjects, participants and location?
  4. Which editing and file formats are needed; who agrees the scope, delivery date and revisions?

These questions help prepare a discussion; they are not a personalised audit or estimate. Scope, timing and cost are agreed after the brief.

Answers before starting
What does the shoot cost, and what costs extra?
The photographer's work starts from 40 600 KZT per hour including VAT; colour correction and basic processing of finished photographs are included. A studio, food stylist, props, detailed retouching and extra versions are quoted separately, only when the task needs them.
How many dishes and finished photographs are included?
The quantity depends on presentation complexity, the required angles and shooting duration. We agree on the dish list and number of finished photographs before work begins, so you know what to expect.
Where does the shoot take place?
At the venue, another location or a studio, depending on the task. We check the conditions for lighting and food presentation in advance and agree on related costs before work begins.
What should we prepare before the shoot?
Prepare a list of priority dishes, visual references and the channels where the photographs will be used. Let us know about location constraints and preparation times so we can build a realistic shooting plan.
