Task

Cafes and restaurants need regular video content: dishes on social media have to look so good that people want to order them immediately. The goal was to shoot appetising vertical clips on location without interrupting the kitchen or dining room.

Hypothesis & strategy

Short restaurant videos depend on close-ups of texture and movement in frame: steam, sauce, cutting and plating. A mobile videographer with lighting can capture those scenes at the pace of a working kitchen, then shape them into concise social-media clips in the edit.

01Preparation: selecting dishes together with the venue, storyboarding and a list of must-have shots for the shift
02Shooting on location — in the dining room and at plating, without stopping the kitchen's work
03Focus on the details that sell: textures, steam, the cut, sauce, plating
04Vertical food clips with dynamic editing for Reels and TikTok
05Checking the opening seconds of each clip so the dish and key action appear without a long intro
06Colour grading and delivery: videos arrive ready to publish
