Task

The brands needed shots for different purposes: the food brand wanted a catalog series of olives for the catalog and product cards, while the tableware brand needed an advertising shoot with staged lighting and composition. The shared requirement — a consistent style within each series and shots ready to use right away: on the website, in social media, in ad layouts.

Hypothesis & strategy

Catalog and advertising product photography solve different problems, so you can't shoot them to a single template. For the product series, the priority is accurate product rendering and repeatability from shot to shot. For the advertising one — light, texture and composition that sell. For each series we built a separate lighting scheme and shot list.

WHAT WE DID

Implementation step by step

01Agreed on references and a shot list for each series: catalog shots for the olives, staged ones for the tableware
02Built studio lighting schemes: soft and even for the product series, sculpting with emphasis on texture for the advertising one
03Ran the product shoot for the olives — 21 shots in a consistent style for the catalog and product cards
04Ran the advertising shoot for the tableware — 81 shots with staged compositions
05Did the retouching and color grading, bringing each series to a unified look
06Delivered the finished files in formats for the website, social media and ad layouts
